As the Digital Business Agility Program Manager, you will partner with the Product Management Team, IT, Development Teams, Departments and other internal customers to manage the implementation of SAFe-Agile as the framework for enterprise-level solutions for our internal customers. You will use your experience with people management, experience, and domain expertise, as you will coach the team of release train engineers and scrum masters who comprise the Business Agility team, and facilitating SAFe-Agile training for new internal customers.

The Digital BA Program Manager manages the program resources, defining governance, processes, business practices, creating program documentation in both digital and manual formats, and ensuring compliance with enterprise policies. This includes clarifying and aligning team goals and metrics to goals, building program structure, directing teams, building and maintaining impactful enablement teams through the use of squads. Our endgame will successfully implement change management best practices while educating the enterprise about SAFe-Agile as a methodology and adapting the framework for use at PPG.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage resources including budgeting, vendors, SOW and invoices.
  • Manage the SAFe team responsible for supporting Agile Release Trains and Squads
  • Develop and implement a regular SAFe-training L&D program for the enterprise
  • Lead the business change management aspect of the program implementation; including creating a body of work to support the introduction, training, and implementation of SAFe-Agile across multiple business units and regions.
  • Reporting and governance – responsible for executing current standard reporting and enhancing reporting as required by leadership
  • Creating, Identifying, and monitoring KPIs related to squad performance at the enterprise level.
  • Lead overall program level reporting, communication, issue management, and cross-work stream risk identification and resolution.
  • Guide cross-team collaboration and resolve cross-team impediments and other planning and collaboration issues.
  • Manage plans to address implementation obstacles and potential areas of risk.Understand and be able to visualize and manage upstream/downstream dependencies.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in a related program of study and 10+ years of project management/coordination/leadership experience as it relates to Digital, IT, or similar.
  • 5+ years of experience leading complex Agile business transformation programs and their implementation.
  • SAFe Agile certification or a minimum of 1 full-cycle implementation as a transformation leader.
  • Practical knowledge of how to scale Lean and Agile practices and awareness of the challenges involved in the facilitation and continuous alignment of a large development environment.
  • Comfortable with presenting to and facilitating discussion with senior business leaders. Strong facilitation, conflict resolution, negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Strategic, operational, risk, and change management skills and experience.
  • Must be comfortable working remotely and lack of face-to-face time with colleagues and managers
