Inside Sales Representative
As an Inside Sales Representative you will be a part of the PPG-Dulux Paint stores within our Architectural Coatings business! You will focus on developing and growing relationships within your accounts to drive sales goals within the stores. You will report to the Regional Sales Manager. Do you possess a strong customer focus and relationship building skills to establish and continue a positive rapport with all customers over the phone?
Key Responsibilities
• Call prospective customers and qualify leads.
• Sustain relationships and introduce new products to current customers.
• Manage inbound customer calls and service appropriately.
• Identify sales opportunities from leads database.
• Maintain contact with current customers to identify increased sales opportunities.
• Close sales or hand off qualified leads to appropriate resources.
• Maintain professional production activities and highlight areas where national, divisional, or local account managers should get involved.
• Manage incoming customer service calls and provide the appropriate technical support.
• Contact customers to advise them of updates to available colour tools.
• Work closely with store managers and associates to resolve issues arising from inbound service calls and ensure the highest level of customer service.
• Maintain existing customer base and promote seasonal products in addition to cold-calling and establishing new customer base.
Qualifications
• 2 or more years of telesales experience.
• Must have good knowledge of store operating procedures and selling techniques.
• Previous experience using a CRM tool to collect and measure performance and customer data.
• Paint knowledge considered an asset.
• Professional and consultative communication skills in order to deliver compelling stories about products and convey important product knowledge.
• Proven time-management skills to ensure organized coverage of accounts.
