As the Marketing Assistant – Color you will focus on segment, brand and channel support in areas of data, analysis, and insight that guides decisions, actions, and development. This role is highly involved in the execution of marketing plans to deliver upon PPG goals. Are you interested in Color Theory and consider yourself a self-starter? PPG is looking for you!

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute in store color activation materials. Develop understanding of customer to advise in store strategy, execution and opportunities.
  • Budget: Understand budget parameters including sales, volume, margin and marketing A&P. Supervise and track spend as well as Return on Investment analysis. Handle purchase orders and input of marketing spend into applicable internal systems.
  • Reporting: Work with account teams to analyze and supervise programs versus stated goals. Partner with third party service provider to uncover color consumption insights.
  • Develop an eye for color in order to support team on press checks, color matches, color consultations, and consumer questions via phone, email and social media.
  • Planning support for yearly global color forecast meeting.
  • Present color trends and trainings to a variety of internal and external audiences.
  • Support team in need for color renderings.
  • Lead execution of digital color activation and color palette development.


  • 1-3 years of marketing experience (including school or internship) is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree is required. Marketing or related technical field degree is preferred.
  • Valuable backgrounds could include sales, customer-facing support or analytical roles.
  • Interest in design, color, fashion, aesthetic.
  • Experience with Adobe suite (specifically Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign).
  • Self-starter and eager to meet the needs of customers!
