As the HRIS Manager, you will form part of the IT Management track within the IT function. Incumbents have responsibility for coaching, career development planning, and direct supervision of HR IT personnel. There is also a strong focus on developing IT relationships with both customers and suppliers. Incumbents contribute to the achievement of HR objectives through effective and efficient management of projects culminating in implementation and support of IT solutions.

In this role, you will collaborate with HR customers, company business units, staff members, IT colleagues, and other stakeholders to define customer requirements, assess available technologies, and develop viable solution options. An ideal candidate will possess knowledge of various business processes used by systems applications and are able to recommend strategies and tactics to satisfy customer needs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the achievement of the HR and IT functions by effectively and efficiently managing the implementation and support of information systems solutions
  • Support HR functional business processes including Performance, Compensation, Talent, Learning, etc. by introducing leading technology solutions within the Workday platform
  • Perform feasibility studies, translate requirements into appropriate designs, define application scope and objectives, prepare proposals, and implement technology solutions that align to HR objectives
  • Manage resources and tasks, develop contingencies, adjust scope, monitor the project status, control project plans, delegate responsibilities, manage costs and provide feedback throughout the system development lifecycle
  • Directly supervise and coach project team members as well as conduct the performance review process for direct reports
  • Keep up-to-date on HR information systems trends and business models


  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a degree in a Human Resources or IT related discipline
  • Greater than 5 years of IS/IT experience in business application design and/or systems development, including implementation and configuration of software as a service (SaaS) platforms
  • Strong interpersonal skills with experience in personnel supervision and career development
  • Experience with HR business process automation through HRIS platforms such as Workday, Taleo or ServiceNow HRSD is highly preferred
  • Demonstrated project management skills, including defining, organizing, planning, and executing projects throughout technology deployments
  • Extensive analytical abilities and technical skills to evaluate alternative approaches and to recommend the most feasible and economical solutions
  • Proven ability to design application solutions using the appropriate systems architecture, structures, and network technologies
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and effectively participate in cross functional teams
  • Ability to effectively perform job responsibilities remotely with global teams, colleagues and managers
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts in audience appropriate terms
