As a Digital Product Manager, you will help define and execute assigned product vision and strategy, manage the end-to-end lifecycle of a product, and help identify market opportunities.




Key Responsibilities:

  • Find opportunities to bring to market solutions around marketing automation, personalization, and customer identity-based analytics in order to identify, influence, and automate the next best action / communication / offer.
  • Managing the end-to-end lifecycle of complex one or more C/4HANA products (Sales, Services, Marketing).
  • Working with appropriate PPG Business Stakeholders, understanding the business objectives and goals and develop a product release roadmap that would deliver on business objectives.
  • Responsible for defining user stories and prioritizing to create a Team Backlog that is aligned to the defined roadmap and maintaining conceptual and technical integrity of the features or components i.e. making the call on what is considered non-negotiable vs. nice to have
  • Responsible for accepting stories as those are done i.e. accountable for signing-off sprints
  • As liaison between technical, marketing, AI/ML, and business teams, the product manager is responsible for managing communication with team members, key stakeholders, collecting input, providing updates, and managing expectations throughout the life of the product.
  • The product manager is responsible for becoming an expert on both the available functionality of the system and the intended user’s use of the system in order to understand not only how the system works, but how to optimize the way the users will work with the system in order to simplify business process and drive adoption/usage as much as possible.
  • The Product Manager will need to make themselves a subject matter expert on the data: master data sources, quality of the data, required integrations, automated vs. manually managed data, use of the data and ongoing management of the data as it pertains to the system
  • The product manager will need to support and monitor all system testing, regression testing and verifying the system is meeting quality expectations.
  • The product manager will be aware of and communicate all regular SAP C/4HANA updates to the system, mitigate business risks of updates and adjustments to the necessary stakeholders.
  • The product manager will serve as a representative on global product management teams, project governance teams and SAP C/4HANA customer success teams.
  • The product manager will need to support the development of communication, change management and training content.
  • The product manager will serve as a consultant to the business throughout the implementation and life of the product to inform potential ways to integrate and develop business processes utilizing the full capabilities of the tool and provide information around investment, feasibility and opportunities.
  • Building a clear and concrete set of product KPIs, deriving key insights and driving experiments and multivariate testing to find product solutions.
  • Work to establish a mature digital product management practice in the group, consistently looking for opportunities to optimize and improve our overall organization, tools and processes.
  • A self-driven, highly- motivated product manager who can work with a high degree of autonomy and is able to prioritize effectively.
  • A business- minded person who can work collaboratively and has proven experience in creating influence across product teams, delivery, AI/ML, Marketing, Operations, and IT to drive product management.
  • This is a role will require 20-30% travel. It is based in Pittsburgh, PA (USA).



  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in product management; SAP C/4HANA or SAP CRM or any other CRM experience required (scoping, set up, deployment).
  • BA/BS degree required, MBA preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile/Lean Startup methodologies
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills with an ability to state things simply and persuasively for a variety of audiences - internal, external, business and technical
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
  • Ability to execute and manage expectations within a cross-functional, matrix management environment
  • Good understanding of Agile and Scaled Agile development principles
  • Exceptional data analytics skills.
  • Ability to lead high performing, cross-functional teams
  • Good industry knowledge and understanding of current and future trends
  • Ability to provide clear direction, set measurable goals and give insight on industry trends.
  • History of making challenging tradeoffs in establishing product priorities that have required sophisticated analyses and challenging negotiations.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to present work to executive stakeholders.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the market landscape, both through a technology and competitor lens.
