As a Field Technical Service Representative, you are to provide technical support as well as handle technical issues to ensure that our customers are able to run PPG materials without incident.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate and manager reports of customer line product complaints. This involves independently calling upon customers to determine scope of problem for on the spot or follow-up laboratory resolution.
  • Assist in providing technical service to customers and ensure that the entire coating process meets our required on-line quality and cost targets to maintain the effective performance of PPG coating products.
  • Coordinate and support introduction trials of new and modified technology at customer sites to ensure they meet expectations
  • Work alongside PPG’s Technical team in ensuring PPG’s formulas are robust and reproducible with appropriate testing regiments to result in right first time production while conforming to factory requirements.
  • Align with Company & statutory E&HS regulations & quality systems



  • Bachelor of Science, preferably with a major in Chemical Engineering or its equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years working experiences in the coatings industrial
  • Must be willing to travel to customer sites as and when needed
